Jeff presents his 1984 Chrysler Executive
It is one of just a few hundred made for Limo service. I saved it from a wrecking yard where it was doomed to be crushed.
It is in excellent condition, and runs and drives great. It is very quiet and comfortable. It also is good on fuel economy, as it has the Mitsubishi four cylinder engine.
The K-Car as it was known, saved Chrysler from bankruptcy when the company was in bad condition. The car was cheap to produce, drove very well, and had a few problems.
I worked for Ball State University at the time the cars were new, and the University had several in their fleet of vehicles.
I drove one to Columbus, Ohio on University business, and enjoyed the drive very much.

Jest to jeden z kilkuset sztuk wykonanych na na potrzeby wynajmu limuzyn. Uratowałem go ze złomowiska, gdzie był przeznaczony pod zgniatarkę.
Jest w doskonałym stanie, jeździ i prowadzi się wspaniale. Samochód jest cichy i wygodny. Jest też ekonomiczny, jakby jeździł na czterocylindrowym silniku Mitsubishi.
Jest to samochód z tzw. serii K-Car, która uratowała koncern Chryslera przed bankructwem. Samochód był tani w produkcji, prowadził się bardzo dobrze i sprawił mi tylko kilka razy problemy.
Pracowałem wówczas na stanowym Uniwersytecie Balla, gdy te samochody pojawiły się na rynku. Kilka takich sztuk trafiło do uniwersyteckiej floty samochodowej.
Często prowadziłem jednego z nich aż do Columbus w stanie Ohio w sprawach uczelni. Bardzo lubiłem jeździć tym autem.
